Class 1 Letter - April 2007
Dear Parents,
Welcome back - Here's a flavour of what will be happening in Reception during terms Summer 5 and 6.
Our focus for Summer 5 is mini-beasts so we will be enjoying lots of time outside looking for ladybirds, worms, spiders and snails.
We will be turning our role play area into a Garden Centre and are planning a visit to Dobbies in Cirencester to see what happens in a real Garden Centre. The children will then be able to use money in role- play situations to pay for goods and link with our maths.
In Summer 6 we will be moving onto Space, and changing our role play into a Space Station. We will be learning about stars and planets.
We have come to the end of our Jolly Phonics letters, but are revising letter formation to ensure letters are correctly formed.
Our P.E. Lessons will be outside, so please ensure children have the correct kit.
