Good News!

The tenders are now in and a contractor has been allocated the job to build our New Hall. We should be having a site meeting before we break up for Christmas and work will start after the break. This is all very exciting so fingers crossed!!

Planning Permission

If you haven't already heard Planning Permission for the New Hall and revamp of the classrooms has now been passed. The job is now out for tender and we should be informed soon who this will be together with a start date. The Architect and Diocese are planning on it all happening by November.

Help us build up our hall fund by buying bricks

St Anderw's Primary has launched an appeal to help build a new hall.

Staff at the Chedworth school hope parents will dig deep to Buy a Brick for £5 and contribute to the £45,000 they need.

The school had to transform its existing hall into a classroom because of an influx of pupils.

It has been using nearby Chedworth Village Hall for PE lessons and drama productions but desperately wants a hall of its own.

The school hosted a spring fair at Chedworth on April 21st where bricks could be bought.

There were also several arts and crafts stalls, including plants, cakes and willow sculptures.

Headteacher Tina Buck said before the event "We're hoping it's going to be a really great day and raise some much-needed funds. Most of the money is coming from the DFES and Diocese but we need to raise the rest."
