Dear Parents and Children,
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
We are getting much better at our recycling and the list of items include tins, plastic, card, paper, glass, tin foil proving we are certainly doing a lot to help the environment. We hope you are all doing this at home too!!
The lights, computers, smart boards and tape recorders are now not on unless they are in use. We are saving money by being careful with our use of electricity as well as the energy resources.
Each morning we all do our Wake and Shake and with Clubs starting we will also all be keeping fit. Our healthy break times are helping us have part of the five fruit or vegetables we need to eat each day.
All the things we do are helping to care for our Planet Earth, the most precious thing we have. Spot the posters around school reminding us of caring for the planet and our NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTION.
WE WILL CARE FOR PLANET EARTH
Before Christmas the Eco-School Committee wrote to various organisations in the village asking them to consider recycling when they have used at events. At the recent Village Hall Committee they agreed for posters to be put up to remind hirers of using the recycling facilities in the Car Park. If we all do our bit we will be caring for Planet Earth!!
Look out for our future initiatives from the Eco-Committee including ways of reducing the congestion around school by walking or cycling.
Reduce, Re-use, Recycle.
